Job Summary
The Account Executive develops relationships with existing clients. Through this relationship they will uncover clients’ goals and challenges and look for opportunities for further partnership with PNT. The Account Executive will also serve as an escalation point for the client for implementation and/or operational support, as well as strategic & tactical solutions for efficiency and quality efforts and will coordinate PNT and client respective areas to resolve/drive.
Roles and Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Consulting
- Leverage subject matter expertise and consultative skills to identify customer’s data issues and recommend solutions that meet their business needs and drive success.
- Bring potential opportunities to the sales executive and partner with them to convert the opportunity to a successful sale.
Account Management
- Create and maintain an ongoing, trusted relationship with defined customers. Have regular meetings with clients to understand their goals and challenges, review current relationship with PNT and look for ways to strengthen the partnership.
- Focus on account retention. Work with all areas of PNT to make sure client satisfaction exceeds expectations. Proactively initiates internal renewal discussions and begins soft exploration with the customer a prescribed number of months in advance.
- Actively mine current customer relationships for upsell & beta/pilot opportunities by establishing close relationships with key contacts and understanding PNT’s capacity for solutioning.
- Ensure that PNT and client are both working within guidelines of contract.
- This role will have access to Protected Health Information (PHI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and confidential information. All employees will be required to successfully complete and comply with company provided HIPAA Privacy and Security training annually
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of healthcare technology experience, particularly in Revenue Cycle Management or EDI
- Experience working with both health plans and providers/submitters on solutions and solution expansion.
- Deep understanding of healthcare claims processes, HIPAA and other regulatory initiatives
- Experience in consulting or consultative sales with an emphasis on relationship building and retention
- Knowledge of best practices in Salesforce or another CRM, with the ability to generate relevant reporting
- Experience using standard Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, Excel
- Highly motivated. Proactive, not reactive.

- Team player able to collaborate and communicate across constituencies. Work with numerous internal and external teams to resolve issues.
