Job Summary

The Manager of Infrastructure and Cloud Operations is a thought leader as well as a hands-on member of the Infrastructure team. This role oversees the administration of cloud systems and services, directs the planning and design of systems and network infrastructure, and manages all enterprise business software solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day AWS cloud platform operations and long-term planning to maintain technologically current, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
• Design and deploy AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation and AWS CDK.
• Manage and maintain Windows production servers and domain controllers running in AWS.
• Work closely with development and operations teams to meet infrastructure needs.
• Operate and manage end-user and business applications: user laptops, VDI desktops, BYOD mobile devices, M365 suite, Atlassian suite.
• Evaluate, respond to, and resolve service issues; design tools and automation to prevent problem recurrence.
• Create and maintain automated monitoring and reporting of cloud infrastructure health, performance, and cost. Continually optimize infrastructure cost.
• Analyze network needs and contribute to design of network architecture, integration and installation.
• Work closely with service providers and vendors. Manage contract renewals and optimize spend.
• Manage the Infrastructure team

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 4 years of experience in systems, infrastructure, and cloud operations; AWS preferred
• Experience administering Entra ID, on-prem Active Directory, or both

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Cloud Operations or Solutions Architect certifications
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or Javascript
• Experience with GitHub Copilot or other assistive programming tools
• Healthcare industry experience
• Atlassian administration experience
