Sales Executive

Job Summary
The Sales Executive will have a B2B field sales role focused on acquisition of new accounts and expanding PNT penetration of existing accounts to achieve growth & profitability goals. The role requires working prospects through the sales cycle beginning with lead development, prospect education, contract negotiation and long-term engagement in conjunction with the account manager to renew and expand our engagements.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Driving RCM/EDI products and services to large submitter groups which will include large multi-physician groups, hospitals, health systems, billing service organizations and RCM/EMR vendors
- Identify upsell opportunities to increase revenue
- Engaging in consultative sales processes by understanding client needs, demonstrating PNT solutions, benefits, and creating tailored proposals that align with the organization’s operational goals.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare leaders, IT decision-makers, and stakeholders to understand their challenges and position PNT as a value-driven solution.
- Develop & execute personal sales plan aligned with PNT revenue goals (persistency & new biz)
- Work with Sales Ops, clients, and applicable areas of PNT to drive contracts to execution
- Provide reports as needed regarding pipeline and sales plan
- Be a source of market intel based on experience and customer interaction. Use this intel to provide insight/feedback to PNT for existing and future products.
- Travel to clients, PNT meetings, and industry conferences/events as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in consultative sales and RCM/EDI solutions to large hospitals, B2B, and BPOs
- Proven quota achievement track record in RCM/EDI
- Knowledge of HIPAA, ANSI X12 transactions, and other industry regulations/trends
- Understanding of the provider/hospital revenue cycle model
- Experience in consultative sales and negotiation skills with an ability to understand client needs.
- Successful in establishing client relationships, identifying opportunities, and bringing deals to close
- Proven plan for hunting for new logos
- Comfortable preparing and presenting unique proposals and presentations to best fit client type, knowledge, particular needs
- Proficiency in PowerPoint
- Knowledge of best practices in Salesforce or other CRM tools
- Client interaction skills: attention to detail, listening, negotiation, persuasion, problem-solving, empathy, patience, persistence, flexibility, observational skills; organization, conflict resolution
